Vladimir Komanicky

Vlad’s Key Takeaways:

1. Agencies looking for new opportunities must prioritise credibility while ensuring that they’re effective and can deliver great value for any marketing budget: convincing brands and encouraging marketing to keep the confidence to invest.

2. Always be proactive rather than reactive. Make people aware of your role within the business and what you add to it. If you have a story, say it to the relevant audience at an appropriate time, in a relevant means. And it needs to mean something and have a deeper brand-related impact.

3. More consumers now will make decisions based on your organisation’s sustainability credentials. And they’ll more likely judge what you actually do versus what you talk about.

4. As an agency leader, innovate and don’t be afraid to lose a little bit with the prospect of gaining much more in the future. Playing it safe is not a winning strategy in these times.

5. Working with Sally and investing in leadership mentoring and development has given me that different (and highly valuable) perspective. We often end up in “a swamp” of our own making in our minds. Having a guide to help navigate and show you what you can’t see is essential.
